"Pride slays thanksgiving, but a humble mind is the soil of which thanks naturally grows. A proud man is seldom a thankful man, for he never thinks he gets as much as he deserves."
 Henry Ward Beecher

Monterey Bay Aquarium
-Everything there seems at harmony with each other
-One day I hope I can rent a house for a summer in Monterey

Food in Monterey
-Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Ghiradelli’s, Froyo, Clam Chowder and Bubba Gump

Community Season 3
-Ended so well, funny how a show that was cancelled at the start of this year might have just turned into my favorite show currently on tv

Farmer’s Market
-Cheap food, 12 grapefruits for $2 and 7 artichokes for $1
-However I spent all the money I had left cherries and gummy bears

Job Security
-Hired for a swim instructor job and life guarding job in the summer :D

It’s something to think now that I only have 5 days left of actual classes.

I won’t get to go home until the 15th…
And I have 4 finals…
:/

But that’s okay because in more ways than not I’m sort of dreading that I’ll have to go home.  There are so many things college has to offer that home doesn’t.  Probably more than anyone else can imagine.  Well, I won’t hate going home; home has its perks.  Just it will be a weird adjustment, and it’ll feel like I’m regressing often.  Sigh, this must be what Harry Potter felt like (even though the realist would scream at that me “Matthew, he’s a fictional character.”).

Oh, you wouldn’t want an angel watching over you

Surprise, surprise, they wouldn’t wanna watch
Another uninnocent, elegant fall into the unmagnificent lives of adults

dictionaryofobscuresorrows:

n. a kind of melancholic trance in which you become completely absorbed in vivid sensory details—raindrops skittering down a window, tall trees leaning in the wind, clouds of cream swirling in your coffee—which leads to a dawning awareness of the haunting fragility of life, a mood whose only known cure is the vuvuzela.

VUVUZELA!!

Wait… vuvuzela?

This song is about a girl that is incredibly special to him, so he takes her as his own. He falls in love with this girl, but his selfishness is harming her, so, because he loves her, he lets her go. However, he still thinks of her all the time, and if she were to call him, he’d come back to her.

If this song is in fact about a break up I think Tims using this part to describe the girls beauty, a lot of guys I know call girls angels. For the last part I think he’s describing that she guided him in the right direction when they were together. Angels are said to give guidance to people.

My roommate is getting dominated, smashed, and pulverized in COD 3.  Dropping f-bombs at a screen every minute, he acts like it actually matters.  He’s so pissed, and it’s making me happy.

is probably going to go a dance and drink.  Hopefully I won’t stay up too late and miss church tomorrow (aka about 24hrs from when I’m posting this).
